Oblong folio (10 1/2 x 14 ¼ in.). 29 Original brilliantly colored botanical drawings in watercolor and gouache by Ethel Dixie., on thick card, mounted on guards, each specimen identified by its Linnean name (two detached from linen guards, a third slightly smaller and inserted.) Each flower is labeled. Some protected by worn tissue guards. Brown morocco gilt. (slightly scuffed, light shelfwear.)
Fine brilliantly colored drawings: the species represented are Disa (5 drawings); Protea (2); Gladiolus (5); Erica (5); and one each of the Crassula; Ixia: Moroea; Anemone; Lachenalia; Babiana; Oxalis; Sparaxis; Amaryllis; Agapanthus; Nerine and Watsonia.
