Provenance: with the artist’s nephew David Robertson in 1858 per an inscription on the flyleaf.

A charming album of original botanical watercolors painted by a youthful Sophia Hope. An inscription on the flyleaf stated the drawings were made by Hope from 1813 to 1816, and the album was received by her nephew David Robertson in 1858.
