| A New Map of the English Empire in America | |||
| While most of the information displayed here was derived from De L'Isle, the temptation to insert imaginary topography in blank spaces was strong in the commercial cartography of the early Georgian times. Fifteen years later the Pennsylvania-Maryland border dispute, for which he drew and redrew the crucial map, taught Senex the error of so doing. Here, there is a range of imaginary mountains and a plain extending through what is now Michigan. | |||
